About the Mission:
The family of Robert M. Taber, US Marine Corps Vietnam War Era Veteran, has requested PGR presence for calling hours and his military honors services. Robert died peacefully on June 14, 2025.
Mr. Taber served in the US Marine Corps from 1964-1967, Vietnam era, achieving the rank of Lance Corporal. He attended Paris Island training and was stationed at Camp Lejeune during his service. Bob was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and a National Defense Service Medal.
Bob was an active member of the Macedon Fire Department for 47 years. He continued his love for fire apparatus as a member of Genesse Valley SPAAMFAA for many years. He and his family were regular participants at fire musters showing off their antique fire truck and ambulance.

Special Information:
PGR will stand an honorable flag line for arriving guests from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM calling hours, after which will be military honors at the funeral home. There is no escort or burial activities for this mission.
Mr. Taber is the father of Bob and Debbie Taber who are active PGR Members. Please do what you can to support the family in this time of loss. Please bring your clean 3x5 American or Marine Corps flag. Be prepared for the weather as it will be warm. No water provided.
