About the Mission:
The family of Joseph F. Biehunik has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Biehunik passed 25 June 2025 surrounded by his family.
He served his nation 36 months active duty in the Army and was trained as a Combat Engineer with the 65th Engineers, attached to the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Mr. Biehunik was honorably discharged at Fort Dix, NJ on 18 November 1958, with reserve obligations concluding 21 November 1961.
After his military service, Mr. Biehunik served his community with the Buffalo Police Department as a Detective, retiring after 41 years of dedicated service.

Special Information:
Members will stand a flag line for arriving family and guests. After prayers and dignified transfer, PGR along with Buffalo Police will escort Mr. Biehunik and family to Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, 130 Como Park Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227 for Mass of Christian Burial.

Second Stage - Special Information:
Members will stand a flag line for dignified transfer. After Mass of Christian Burial, PGR will escort family and their hero to Mount Calvary Cemetery, 800 Pine Ridge Rd., Cheektowaga, NY for military honors interment. Bring water and cooling towels temps will be in the high 80's. Take breaks when possible. Thank you for standing for our veterans.
