About the Mission:

This veteran of the "Greatest Generation" is having his 100th birthday and Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to honor him. He served in WWII aboard LST539, (Landing Ship Tank), as a gunnersmate and was involved in D-Day at Omaha Beach, Normandy, France. There will be a ceremony with local officials, friends, and family with a drive by for his celebration.
